“Making art, talking back, and putting it on a tee shirt.”

Hi, I’m the brain, hands, and occasional chaos behind Fulano D. Tal. I’m a queer artist, art department coordinator (IATSE 871!), and lifelong maker with roots in El Paso, TX. I studied painting and drawing, spent 20+ years in the advertising grind, and later jumped into TV and film—designing props, managing creative chaos, and wrangling art departments from LA to Argentina. Somewhere in between spreadsheets and spray mount, I realized the real joy was making bold, weird, empowering things that make people laugh and feel seen.

When the world hit pause in 2020, I hit reset. I treated lockdown like a silent retreat—with less chanting, more carbs—and came out on the other side creatively reborn. With the entertainment industry on strike (again), I decided to stop waiting for someone else to hire me and hired myself instead. I dusted off my print skills, fired up my vinyl cutter, and launched My Branding Shop to help small businesses show up like the badasses they are. As my own first client, I started vending shirts, stickers, and stationery featuring my own illustrations—smart, queer, pop-forward designs with just the right amount of sass.

Now I live in Van Nuys with my partner, too many markers, and big merch energy. Fulano D. Tal is where I get to share my art—part cultural commentary, part personal therapy, and 100% made with love (and a little glitter). Whether you're a fellow creative, a sticker hoarder, or just here for the ride, welcome. Sign up for my email list and come along—because this isn’t just a store - es un tribu.
